Wheat Balls (Laddoo)

India...Is a Multi cultural society with many celebrations...Festivals...And  Laddoo is an integral part of any Festival.

So here is a simple recipe for Wheat Laddu/Laddoo.This is a healthy Laddoo for kids especially.
This recipe contains  wheat flour and nuts with some butter and sugar.Replace butter with low fat margarine and sugar with Jaggery/sugar substitute .Then this can be a completely healthy snack.
So here we go..
Ingredients



Wheat flour (atta)- 2 cups
Sugar-Powdered-1 cup
Almonds-1/2 cup
Milk-2 tbsp
Butter/Margarine- 2-3 tbsp
Cardamom-2 nos

Method Of Preparation 
1.Heat a non stick pan and dry fry wheat for 3-5 minutes until light brown.
2.Now add the butter/margarine and mix well with a spatula.Butter should coat all the wheat flour nicely and let this fry for 3-4 minutes.Now a nice aroma emerges.

3.Add in the powdered sugar.Sugar has been powdered along with whole cardamoms.
Mix really well.
4.Now add milk little by little and mix until it turns smooth.Allow it to cook well.
5.Add in chopped nuts.

And mix well.
6.When its warm mix it well with hands.

7.Make balls and coat with powdered sugar.

ENJOY  delicious nutritious Laddoos!!!!
