Pralines 'N Cream (easy butterscotch icecream)

Ingredients Fresh cream - 2 cups Sugar - as per taste Butter - 1 tablesp Almonds and Pecan nuts- Method of preparation: Step 1 Beat fresh cream with sugar until smooth and fluffy. Step 2 Praline Recipe: Put 4 tbsp sugar on a dry pan. Let it melt completely and add 1 tbsp of butter. Mix well and switch off the flame. Add crushed nuts and keep stirring until brown. Immediately transfer the mix to a butter paper and let it cool. You will get the praline as shown in the picture below Crush it well and add it to the cream Add crushed praline into the cream and freeze for 5 hours.(You may blend it once again to get a uniform consistency) You get delicious, Baskin Robins sty;e Praline 'N Cream at home! ENJOY.

Chocolate coated Strawberries

Wish You All A Very Happy Easter... The spirit of Easter  is all about Hope,Love and compassion. Today's recipe is a very simple but so very a delicious dessert. Chocolate and Strawberries..!!! This combination itself is so divine . How To Prepare Chocolate Coated Strawberries?? Strawberries- Good quality baking Chocolate- Butter-1 tsp Liquid Glucose-1 tsp 1.Wash strawberries under  running  water.Pat dry. 2. In a double boiler,melt  chocolate and butter and add in 1 tsp liquid glucose to this. 3.Dip strawberries in melted chocolate.Dip only 1/3rd of the strawberries. If you don't get strawberries with the stem,you can use toothpicks for holding  them. 4.Freeze for 30 minutes. Gujiya Recipe

Wishing all Indians a very Happy Holi... I really like Indian sweet Gujiya.This sweet is a must delicacy on Holi day.So why not we try this gujiya today? As always,this is an easy version of the traditional recipe.One thing that is guaranteed is the taste.We are using coconut ,Kalonji and dry fruits as the filling. Ingredients For the filling  Cashew nuts Raisins Almonds Dry Apricots Kalonji/Black seeds(Nigella sativa) Coconut dry/fresh -grated finely Cardamom Powder- /2 tsp Powdered sugar- 4 tbsp Mix all ingredients as shown in the picture below. Filling itself is so tasty and so try not to devour it off before we actually proceed with Gujiya recipe.!! Cheesecake has two or more layers. The main, thickest layer is soft, creamy cheese, sometimes contains eggs,and sugar; the bottom layer is often a crust or base made from crushed cookies, graham crackers, pastry, or sponge cake.Cheese cake may be baked or unbaked. We can use fresh fruits,fruits sauce or syrup as topping. This recipe contains no-egg. We need  spring form pan for this,but you can also use disposable tray if you wish to. Egg less ,no-bake cheese cake . Ingredients Digestive Biscuits /graham crackers- You can even use Marie Biscuits if you like the taste. Mango Pudding Wishing you all an independent, peaceful & better days ahead. Ingredients: Milk-4 cups China grass (AGAR AGAR)- 1 cup (10 gms) Mango - 2 nos Cream - 2 tbsp Sugar- 1 cup  Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp Biscuit crumbs- 1-2 cups Method Of Preparation Boil Milk .Cut china grass into very small pieces using scissors. Add these pieces into the milk and boil until china grass melts. Stir the boiled milk well so that china grass dissolves completely. Sieve this mix to remove any undissolved china grass. Caramel custard

 Today's recipe is the well known,simple caramel custard.Only difference is that I have added crushed walnuts to give a twist.U se cream instead of milk in this same recipe, then you will get the traditional  Creme Brulee . Ingredients 2 tbsp sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp Vanilla essence 1 1/2 cup milk For the Caramel syrup Heat a pan .Add 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (or normal sugar is perfectly fine) and 2tsp water (we have to just wet the sugar with water). Sugar melts and starts bubbling; finally it turns to dark color. Pour this caramel into a pudding dish; I added some crushed walnuts into this caramel for a change. Custard Preparation Beat 2 eggs +2 tbsp sugar+1 tsp vanilla+1 1/2cups milk. Strain it to avoid any lumps. Pour this custard into the pudding dish in which we have already added caramel.Cover the pudding dish with aluminium foil. We have to double boil this custard now. Try out a simple delicious Icecream today ! Your kids gonna love it  ! No artificial flavours added. Really healthy for your lil ones.... Ingredients Milk- 1/2 Liter Condensed milk-200g Fresh cream- 200g Regular Milk Chocolate - 1 bar Chocolate cookies/ biscuits  - 10 nos Method Step1 Melt milk chocolate to a creamy sauce. Step2 Whip  fresh cream and condensed milk. Add boiled and cooled milk to this .Mix well . Add biscuit crushed. Mix well . Finally add melted chocolate . And that's it! Refrigerate the mix in a closed container for 6-8 hrs. Simple delicious creamy home made ice cream is ready to serve !!!

These are a healthy snack/Laddoo using brown rice and  Jaggery.   This is a tasty and healthy evening snack from the ancient recipe collections of south Indian state Kerala. Ari Unda/Rice balls Wishing all Indians a very HAP PY DIWALI. ..! It's again a festive season in our country INDIA.Diwali is the festival of lights.Every Indian around the world,celebrate this day,by  decorating their houses with lamps/diyas. Special sweets are also made on this auspicious day.  This recipe is simple ,hardly takes 10-15  minutes to prepare. Bengal gram has low glycemic index and can be included under weight loss diet. In that aspect,this recipe is a fresh option for those under weight loss regime.I am so happy to share this wonderful dessert from India. INGREDIENTS Split Bengal gram(skinless)- 1 cup Jaggery-200 g Milk(low fat)- 1/2 cup Coconut milk(thin)-3 cups Thick coconut milk-1/2 cup Cumin powder-2 tsp For Garnish Cashew nuts Raisins Ghee-1tsp Method Of Preparation 1.Wash and soak split bengal gram seeds for 30 minutes. Cook it(split bengal gram(also called Chana dal in Hindi)) until its almost mushy.Use a pressure cooker for this. 2.Now in a non stick pan,add the cooked bengal gram along with melted jaggery and stir until the mixture cooks well in jaggery and starts coming out from the pan. We are using semolina,almonds,bran flakes etc;for this reason,this laddoo can be a choice for those on diet. Sugar used in recipe is not a negative point compared to the other important ingredients like bran.Bran is a vital substance that provide dietary fiber and essential fatty acids. INGREDIENTS Semolina-1 cup Bran flakes-1/2 cup Almonds-1/4 cup Sugar-As per required Dry Coconut-2 tbsp Cardamom powder-1tsp Low fat milk-2 tbsp Pistachios for garnishing. So here is a simple recipe for Wheat Laddu/Laddoo.This is a healthy Laddoo for kids especially. This recipe contains  wheat flour and nuts with some butter and sugar.Replace butter with low fat margarine and sugar with Jaggery/sugar substitute .Then this can be a completely healthy snack.
