Green Peas Pulao





Mattar Pulao
Here is one Quick and Easy Recipe for lunch or dinner.
To prepare this Indian Pulao, You require

Good Quality Basmati Rice- 1 1/2 cups
Ginger Paste-1 tsp
Onion - 1 small chopped
Green Chilly Paste -  1 tsp
Garam Masala Crushed -with Cinnamon as main ingredient.
Fresh Green Peas boiled- 1/2 cup

Salt - to taste
Olive oil- 1 tbsp

fresh Mint leaves paste- 1 tbsp (optional)- You can use fresh coriander leaves too.

Method of preparation of Peas Pulao
Step1
Boil Rice until almost done. Do not cook it well.
Step 2

Boil Green peas with a little bit salt using very little water until well done.
Step 3.
Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add onion,ginger paste,green chilly paste and saute well. Add garam masala.
Add the cooked peas and mix well.
Add half cooked rice and salt.Finally add mint(puthina)paste and mix well with out breaking the rice.
Now close this with a lid and allow it to cook until rice is well done and all the flavors get assimilated.

Serve with raitha.
