Green Peas Pulao

Here is one  Quick and Easy Recipe for lunch or dinner. To prepare this Indian Pulao , You require Good Quality Basmati Rice- 1 1/2 cups Ginger Paste-1 tsp Onion - 1 small chopped Green Chilly Paste -  1 tsp Garam Masala Crushed -with Cinnamon as main ingredient. Fresh Green Peas boiled- 1/2 cup Salt - to taste Olive oil- 1 tbsp fresh Mint leaves paste- 1 tbsp (optional)- You can use fresh coriander leaves too. Method of preparation of Peas Pulao Step1 Boil Rice until almost done. Do not cook it well. Step 2 Boil Green peas with a little bit salt using very little water until well done. Step 3. Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add onion,ginger paste,green chilly paste and saute well. Add garam masala. Add the cooked peas and mix well. Add half cooked rice and salt.Finally add mint(puthina)paste and mix well with out breaking the rice. Biriyani is my favorite and after tasting all those varieties from different regions,here I have tried to renovate the best flavor of them all.This is my own  recipe with very very less oil.  We can even make no oil  biriyani,but we have to compromise on the taste.So here the trial is without compromising on the taste how to recreate a healthy and simplified version of Biriyani. I ngredients:-  Arborio rice - 200g Chicken stock- 2cups White Wine -    2 tabsp Shallots -        8 nos Garlic- 4 cloves Rosemary - a pinch Thyme -     a pinch Parmesan cheese - Bountiful Butter /Olive Oil   -1 tab sp.   Method :- Saute asparagus in butter(instead you can use Olive oil ) with shredded shallots .Sprinkle salt .Cook till asparagus turn tender. This is an Indian Pulao with soya chunks.Really easy to make and with less oil too.For those who crave for biriyani, this one is for you: You can have this less oil pulao with out guilt.Replace rice with Pearl Barley  for a healthier treat. Mixing shallow fried soya chunks make this rich in protein. Soya chunks are so yummy,so,I prefer it as a side dish along with this the pulao rather than mixing it into the rice.. Vermicelli Rice

This is again a kid's favorite. Buttery rice with vermicelli .This can be a great and easy Party item too.So here's the recipe. Ingredients Long grain (Basmati) Rice-2 cups Vermicelli-3/4 cup Butter-1 tbsp Salt-to taste Method  Wash and soak rice for 10 minutes.Fry it in 2tsp butter ,add 31/2 cups of water and then cook on medium fire. Fry the Vermicelli in another spoon of butter.When it's brown,add very little water and let it cook well.Now add the cooked rice little at a time and mix well with the rice.Add salt to taste. You can add some more butter on top.Mix well and serve hot. Our special,delicious,buttery rice is ready !!!!

Fried rice comes from Chinese cuisine.But Chinese barely add minced meat to the Fried rice,but why not think out of the box? We can call this an Indo-Chinese fusion recipe. Easy Vegetable Rice~kids recipe

This is a quick and simple biriyani or very healthy, vegetable rice. My son was told to bring vegetable pulao for a potluck kid’s party. I made this item for the kids. They enjoyed it, since it’s less spicy and having an appealing smell of Mint leaves and other spices. This is nicer when it’s cold, so u can even send this in the lunch box for the kids who like rice. Ingredients Vegetables-Carrot, beans, corn, Onion, Tomato, Cabbage-1/2 cup Rice-2cups Ghee-2tsp Oil-1tsp Mint leaves-1/2 cup Yogurt-1tbsp Ginger-garlic-green chili paste-1tbsp Salt-to taste Sugar-1tsp Saffron-4-5 strands (Optional) Cashews, Raisins- Black Cardamom, cloves, Fennel seeds, Cinnammon-Powdered 1-2 tsp Method Cook rice after adding water just to cover it. Vegetable Fried Rice

Veg.Fried Rice Chinese Fried rice is quick and easy to cook and every one’s favorite too. This is a basic recipe for fried rice. You can add in eggs, shrimp, sausages or chicken to this, according to your taste buds. Ingredients Cooked rice- 2 cups Mixed vegetables-1 cup Spring Onion/Scallions-1/2 cup Red chili-2no Garlic-1 finely chopped Ginger-Julian cut 2 tsp Salt-to taste Worcester  sauce-2 tbsp How to do Heat a wok, add 1 tbsp oil. Add in red chili flakes and garlic chopped. Add ½ cup scallions,ginger and 1 cup mixed veggies. (I prefer French beans, carrots, bell pepper, mushrooms) Saute  well and stir fry. Add the cooked rice, salt and  Worcester  sauce. Now mix well and close the wok and ke ep it on medium fire for 10 minutes. Garnish with spring onion. Serve hot with any side dish you prefer.

Coconut Rice Recipe

  Coconut rice is a good option when you want to give a twist to the normal rice dishes. This is  similar to Thai Coconut rice. Rich in coconut milk, this is a real relish with any accompaniment you like.My suggestion ,this delicious chicken curry is a great combo. Ingredients White Rice – 1 cup Coconut milk – 2 cups Salt- To taste Cumin seeds – ½ tsp Ghee - 1 tsp (Optional) Method Of Preparation Soak and clean white rice. In a heavy bottom pan, cook rice with good quality coconut milk. When rice turns almost done, add crushed cumin seeds and salt. Cook well. Add 1 tsp ghee on top. Garnish with dry grated coconut. Serve hot with chicken curry.

"" Thanks to all who took time to appreciate my efforts " -------------- Garlic-Butter rice is something I came up with, when I didn’t get time to make a big meal. So another quick recipe, my family loves it and I am sure, your kids too will. No one can resist the aroma of garlic sauteing in butter. So here we go ! Ingredients Butter- 1 tb sp Garlic – 4 cloves finely chopped Onion-1 medium Cashew nuts - Rice -1 cup Cardamom, cloves, cinnamon –crushed 1 tsp Spring onion- to your taste Salt- to taste Sugar-1tsp Preparation Melt butter in a heavy bottomed pan .Add 1 tsp sugar, when it turns brown, add onion sliced. Add the crushed spices and rice. Let the rice fry for 2 minutes .Add cashew nuts and spring onion. Now pour in water and add salt .Cook until done. Garnish with spring onion. Serve hot.
