It's thick with a variety of vegetables and packed with nutrition.We are serving this with Phulka and kheer/payasam as dessert. Chicken Dry Fry ~Low fat

Ingredients   Chicken-500 gm Onion-1 big Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp Coconut milk-2tbsp Tomato sauce-1 tbsp Oil-1-2 tsp Curry leaves Chilly powder-1tbsp Turmeric powder-1 tsp Coriander powder-1 tbsp Chicken masala powder- 1tbsp Salt- Method of Preparation Marinate chicken with Chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,salt and ginger-garlic paste. Pour 1-2 tsp oil in a grill pan and cook this marinated chicken really well.Now add chopped onion,curry leaves and chicken masala powder.Let this fry for a while. Now add 1-2 tbsp coconut milk and mix well.Stir continuously,after 3-4 minutes all the coconut milk will evaporate and you can find oil from the coconut milk. Now add in 1 tbsp tomato sauce. Vermicelli Rice

This is again a kid's favorite. Buttery rice with vermicelli .This can be a great and easy Party item too.So here's the recipe. Ingredients Long grain (Basmati) Rice-2 cups Vermicelli-3/4 cup Butter-1 tbsp Salt-to taste Method  Wash and soak rice for 10 minutes.Fry it in 2tsp butter ,add 31/2 cups of water and then cook on medium fire. Fry the Vermicelli in another spoon of butter.When it's brown,add very little water and let it cook well.Now add the cooked rice little at a time and mix well with the rice.Add salt to taste. You can add some more butter on top.Mix well and serve hot. Our special,delicious,buttery rice is ready !!!!

 Thattil Kutti Dosa with Garlic Chutney Ingredients for dosa batter Raw Rice-3 cups Urad Dal-3/4 cup Fenugreek Seeds-2 tbsp Soak these ingredients in water for 5-6 hours. Grind into a thick batter.Add salt and keep it for fermentation (8-10 hrs).If you want to prepare this instantly you can add Eno fruit salt. Make small dosa on a tawa. For the chutney Coconut grated-1 cup Green chillies-2-4 no Garlic -2 cloves Ginger -1 small piece. Salt -to taste Shallots-2 nos Coconut oil-2 tsp Method of preparation Fry shallots and garlic in coconut oil.Add some curry leaves to this.Now grind all ingredients together.Very special delicious chutney is ready to serve with the dosa. Some chickpea curry is also great healthy combination with these.

There are zillions of methods and varieties of Lasagna.This is a simple basic method to make a superbly delicious lasagna with only Mozzarella cheese. Traditional Italian lasagna recipe uses another layer of cheese with ricotta and Parmesan.But I have replaced that layer too with Mozzarella cheese to cut off the calories.This was an experiment for me,but got the same taste as from the restaurants. So here are the  INGREDIENTS  we need:- Lasagna sheets- Ground/minced beef- Tomato puree-of 4-5 tomatoes Oregano- Garlic-2 cloves chopped Onion-1 big chopped Salt and Pepper Quantities are according to the size of your baking dish. Arabic Chicken Majboos Majboos is an Arabic rice dish with lamb or chicken. In the traditional method,they boil water in a big pot and after adding all the spices and onion into the boiling water,they add full chicken.Once the chicken is done, take it out and rice is cooked in the same stock. But I have changed that method a bit. Here I am partially frying the chicken first and then cooking the rice and fried chicken together in the same pot. This is a quick and simple biriyani or very healthy, vegetable rice. My son was told to bring vegetable pulao for a potluck kid’s party. I made this item for the kids. They enjoyed it, since it’s less spicy and having an appealing smell of Mint leaves and other spices. This is nicer when it’s cold, so u can even send this in the lunch box for the kids who like rice.
