November Winds- 2025 Edition (Originally written in 2014, revisited and refreshed for 2025 — same story, renewed perspective)

 November was windy. Most people disliked the season because of the harsh gusts sweeping through the town, but she loved it. To her, this was when nature felt most alive—clear skies, crisp air, and a wind strong enough to carry everything away. As she walked through the backyard plantation, the wind lifted her spirit, almost making her feel weightless. Beyond the plantation, before the pond, she had her own secret place. It was a slightly eerie patch near a cluster of pineapple bushes, where the land dipped lower than the rest of the garden and stood apart from the tall trees. A single large tree and a few bamboo stalks guarded the space. No one else went there; the mud was dark and sticky, and the place was known to be home to snakes. But in the dry November heat, the ground hardened, and it became her sanctuary—her quiet world of solitude and drifting dreams.
